Drop-in for tutoring or computers:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM.
Drop by the Resource Centre for FREE tutoring and internet access.
Mother Goose:
Tuesdays at 2:00 PM in Tsaxana.
Join us for a bouncing good time of songs, rhymes, and stories. This program is designed for children from birth to three years old but all children are welcome.
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren:
The second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 1:00 PM.
While some may have full custody and others help care part-time, many grandparents are facing new and difficult challenges. Meet with other grandparents caring for their grandchildren.
Lego and Literacy:
Wednesdays, 3:15 PM-4:15 PM. Pre-registration is required.
This is an after school program where elementary school children can have a snack, listen to a story, and build with Lego.
Writers’ Club:
Every second Thursday from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM.
Join other adults in creative writing. Try new techniques, receive feedback, or work on your own story. Everyone is welcome; no writing experience is necessary.
Book Club:
The second Thursday of each month, at 12:00 PM.
Read a new book each month and discuss it with other adults. Bring your lunch. New members welcome.
